About me...and my vision
My name is Jill Peck and I am a Wedding and Event Planner in the New Jersey/New York City area. I successfully planned my own wedding for 150 people from hundreds of miles away, and loved every minute...which is what sparked my passion for planning events! My organizational skills, intense focus, and multi-tasking abilities, along with my creative impulses, make me a dedicated event planner. I graduated from The New School in New York City with a degree in Liberal Arts. I have also had project management training from the American Management Association. I am fun and love to be outdoors with my dog, Cosmic. My husband and I love to travel and I am always interested in an adventure...learning about new cultures and seeking out "gems".
I pride myself in being creative and efficiently using resources. My parents instilled in me from a young age, the importance of improvising. I know first-hand that the cost of a wedding or other big event can get out of control, so I am committed to maximizing your resources and staying within your budget for the event. I will work with you and listen to your life, love, and style so that we may create a day that accurately depicts you. I am also interested in planning "Green" events, and have researched interesting resources for such.
